There are so many things that no one ever told me. From dating, to courtship, to marriage, to pregnancy, birth, motherhood…. There are so many things that I was never told. These truths sit like secrets that that lie behind the veil of initiation from girl, to woman and, woman to wife, wife to mother… it really doesn’t stop there. I imagine how much easier the transition would be if these secrets were revealed sooner.
